My Why: Being a business owner in Australia can have its challenges as does being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother while still active in the workforce.
Being a renowned Networking Expert in the Gold Coast Queensland community gives me a great source of trusted connections.
I have used my own style of connecting or " networking " to grow a seven-figure income for my own financial planning business & I now coach business people on how to use this same approach with many of my trusted procedures and steps, to grow their own businesses.

Bit of history:
Together my husband Steve and I established Arrow Focus on Wealth, to provide Financial Planning and Personal Insurance Advice for our clients. We built this business over 20 years with a solid framework and dedication to achieve maximum sale value.
My role at Arrow was Business Development Manager and Rainmaker, where I used my natural ability to formulate successful steps to achieve business growth and sustainability, meet new contacts & develop relationships to provide new business & continued growth for all parties.
I now have those years of experience in both life and business, to offer valuable coaching to others. I may be "semi-retired" from the workforce but not from my passion to help others.
As a"semi-retired" business owner I can offer valuable time, insights, and support to a current business owner for several reasons:
1. Experience and expertise: "semi-retired" business owners have typically spent many years running their own businesses and have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way. They have faced various challenges, made decisions, and dealt with different aspects of running a business. This experience can be invaluable to a current business owner who may be facing similar issues or looking for guidance on strategic decisions.
2. Coaching, Mentorship, and Guidance: "semi-retired" business owners can serve as mentors to current business owners. They can provide guidance, share their lessons learned, and offer advice based on their own successes and failures. Having someone who has been through similar situations can help a current business owner navigate challenges more effectively and avoid potential pitfalls.
3. Network and connections: "semi-retired" business owners often have extensive networks and connections built over the years. These connections can be beneficial for a current business owner who may be looking for new opportunities, partnerships, or access to specific resources. "semi-retired" business owners can introduce their contacts to the current business owner, opening doors to new possibilities and expanding their network.
4. Fresh perspective: While "semi-retired" business owners may not be actively involved in day-to-day operations, they can bring a fresh perspective to a current business owner. Sometimes, when you're deeply involved in running a business, it's easy to get tunnel vision and miss out on alternative approaches or innovative ideas. "semi-retired" business owners can offer a different viewpoint, ask critical questions, and challenge existing assumptions, which can lead to new insights and improved decision-making.
5. Emotional support: Running a business can be a demanding and stressful endeavor. Having someone who has been through the journey and understands the emotional ups and downs can provide much-needed support and empathy. "semi-retired" business owners can share their own experiences dealing with the pressures of entrepreneurship, offer encouragement during challenging times, and provide a sounding board for the current business owner's ideas and concerns.
Overall, a "semi-retired" business owner can bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, coaching, mentorship, connections, and emotional support to a current business owner and has the time to spare from their own business to allow this. They can serve as a valuable resource and sounding board, helping the current business owner navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and ultimately increase the chances of success.
